ABOUT ME
"Hi there! Thank you for stopping by—I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Wendy, a Botanical Mixed Media Artist and Surface Pattern Designer from Brisbane, Australia. I work predominantly with watercolours, bringing my love for nature to life on paper.
My path to art has been anything but traditional. With a background in engineering, I've been working full-time as a Metallurgist and Process Engineer since 2017. I grew up drawing and creating but set it aside when high school and university came along. In 2019, I rekindled that creative spark and found myself captivated by the beauty of nature, especially flowers.
In 2022, I discovered watercolours and was drawn in by their ability to capture the subtle beauty I see in the natural world. I mostly use Winsor & Newton watercolours but have recently been exploring handmade paints for their unique textures and pigments. Each one adds something special to my work, deepening my connection to the medium.
My passion for learning about nature and sharing that beauty with others has only grown stronger, and I realized that I wanted to pursue life as an artist and build a small business of my own. It’s a new dream, but one I’m excited to follow, and I look forward to sharing this journey and my art with you.
I hope that by sharing my journey and love of flowers, I can inspire others to reconnect with their creativity and find joy in making art. I truly believe we’re all born creative—like Picasso said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.”

My dream is to share my love of flowers through art, capturing the beauty I find in nature and bringing it to life for others. I would love to reach people around the world with a line of fine art prints, stationery, and accessories. I’m also excited to collaborate with brands and companies that share a passion for creativity and a love for the natural beauty that surrounds us."

FLOWERS X PRODUCTIVITY
Productivity has always been a big part of my life, shaping my days and becoming even more essential since I set out on the journey to become a full-time artist and small business owner.
As I continue along this path, I feel a strong pull to unite productivity, creativity, and my love for flowers—all of which are so meaningful to me. In a world full of distractions, it’s more important than ever to reclaim our focus and live with intention, so we can spend more time doing what we love and fully engaging with the present moment.
In the words of one observer, 'There are maybe trillions of dollars but at least hundreds of billions of dollars that are being made and dedicated every day to getting you to do nothing. It's not a fair fight, and they're winning.' True productivity isn’t about doing more but about doing what matters. It’s about intentionally building a life we love and becoming the person we want to be.
I’m excited to work behind the scenes on creating a line of floral productivity stationery to help others bring more purpose and beauty into their daily lives. I look forward to releasing floral-inspired notebooks, planners, calendars, notepads, habit trackers, and more, all designed to support intentional and productive living."
