Why Consistency Changes Everything

This month’s inspiration is short and sweet—a collection of quotes, podcasts, videos, and blogs that all, by coincidence, carried the same message. And I think this quote captures it perfectly:

“Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did.”

— Newt Gingrich

How many times have we set a goal, started a hobby, or launched a side hustle, only to switch, change direction, or give up when things got difficult?

I’ve done it so many times. I recently listened to a podcast about “how to stop staying broke,” and surprisingly, it wasn’t about spending habits at all. It was about persistence—about following through long enough to finally reap the rewards of your hard work.

The truth is, there are only two outcomes: you either win, or you give up right before you win or succeed. There’s no in-between. Of course, we grow and evolve, and what aligns with us can change—but if it’s something you truly want, it’s all about playing the long game.

Someone in a podcast said, “put out 100 videos. Write 100 newsletters. Reach out to 100 investors. Do 100 reps of anything and you WILL get results.” I loved that. And I’m taking that approach with my YouTube channel—I won’t stop at 1 video, 5 videos, or even 30. I’m going to keep showing up, keep releasing vlogs, and see what unfolds.

This morning I read a quote that perfectly ties it all together:

"The Law of Invisible Progress"

You will see the reward for today's effort in a season you have not reached. Beneath the surface your actions are stacking up quietly, relentlessly, invisibly.

Most people quit in this phase because they mistake lack of visible results for lack of progress.

The ones who win are the ones who understand this law and keep showing up long enough for the invisible to become undeniable.

— Jude Fredman

So—what are you working toward right now? Consider this your reminder that none of your effort is wasted as long as you keep showing up. I promise you. 💛
