Studio Notes: A Year of Showing Up

Hi friends,

And just like that… we’ve reached the end of the year. As I look back, I’m filled with a deep sense of gratitude for everything this year taught me.

It taught me patience. It taught me what it feels like to start from the very beginning and allow myself to learn before I try to run. This year became a year of building foundations—skills, clarity, confidence—and it unfolded in ways I never expected. The one thing that did stay aligned with my expectations was how I continued to show up, not the outcome itself.

I stayed consistent with the hours I poured into my art business whenever I could, the movement and exercise I prioritised for my body, and the way I nurtured myself through small moments of care. It made me realise that goals are our north star—they guide us and give us direction—but the real magic often isn’t in the result. It’s in who we become along the way. It’s in the small, steady habits we build while we’re pursuing something meaningful.

So, if you’re feeling like you didn’t quite hit the goals you set, I hope you can still look back with kindness. Look at how much you’ve grown, learned, and changed. You’ve come further than you think.

It’s all about the journey, not the destination. 🌿✨
