Studio Notes: Calm Days, Creative Seeds

Hi friends,
Just like that, we’re in the second half of 2025. July has felt more grounded for me. A little slower and more intentional. I’ve found space to work on a few personal projects, made progress on some stationery goals, and even started designing the next stationery launch. I dabbled in a little oil painting, read a few books on composition, and began sketching small thumbnails for my upcoming "Wildflowers" collection.
With fewer distractions, I’ve been falling back into routine and feeling more aligned in my days. Of course, not every day goes to plan—life always brings the unexpected—but I’m still managing to get the things done that matter most. I know this calm won’t last forever. The months ahead will bring a little chaos with family gatherings, packing and moving house, some big life changes and, a holiday in October.
So, I’m soaking in this moment and making the most of the time I have—to move forward in my art, wrap up client work, and stay focused on my stationery launches. Hopefully, it leads to a little breathing room soon.
I hope your July was cozy and slow, with time to rest, reset, and dip your toes into the things you've been wanting to explore.
