Hi friends,
The past few months have been a little chaotic, with so many out-of-the-blue events and personal things to sort through. It’s been both frustrating and stressful — especially because it’s meant that over the past six to eight weeks I’ve had to step back from my art business and let things slow down.
At times, I wondered if it was the universe telling me to pause, or if life was gently teaching me the art of surrender. I caught myself thinking, “I won’t really have time for my art anyway, so I might as well not do anything.” But even when my time feels squeezed and life feels heavy, my art and my business continued to give me a sense of purpose and help fill my cup even if it meant 5 minutes here or 30 minutes there.
So instead, I’ve been working on shifting my mindset — finding small pockets of time to create because it still brought me joy, even when things felt frustrating or uncertain. I’m hoping the next few months will be calmer and quieter, giving me space to reset and spend more intentional time with my art before our baby arrives in March (SURPRISE!!).
If you ever find yourself short on time and overwhelmed by the demands of life, I hope you can still find little moments to fill your cup and do the things that bring you joy. 🌿✨
