Studio Notes: Easing into the New Year & Embracing the Season to Bloom

Hi friends,

I hope you all had a wonderful start to the new year, taking time to reflect on 2024 and set meaningful intentions for 2025. I had planned to kick off this year strong, but the universe had other plans—COVID caught up with me right after Christmas, and I only just recovered by the end of the first week of January! Sometimes, our minds urge us to keep pushing and hustling, but the universe reminds us to pause and rest—a lesson I think many of us can relate to.

This year, my word of the year is “bloom.” I’m blooming and blossoming into the best version of myself in 2025, and I’m nurturing my business to bloom alongside me as I gain more focus and clarity. Blooming, however, isn’t just about growth—it’s also about rest, care, and giving yourself the space to simply be.

This past week, I took things slow, easing into the year while finalizing my vision board and refining my plans for 2025. I focused on gentle movement—practicing yoga and enjoying walks outside—which felt so grounding. With so many projects to wrap up in the first quarter and even more I’m excited to begin, I’m shifting my creative process this year.

I’ll be working in collections to create more cohesive bodies of work, centred around themes I’m truly inspired by🌼
