Hi friends,
I hope you had a wonderful November! By the time you receive this newsletter, there will be just 25 days left until Christmas. With the new year just around the corner, I'm focusing on tying up loose ends in my small art business and closing out the year, so I can start fresh and dive into new projects with renewed energy and ideas.
As 2025 approaches, I'm realizing that I need to let go of older work, projects, and tasks that no longer serve my business, as my direction has shifted since I first started this journey. It’s a challenge because I naturally like to complete and finalize everything, but I've come to understand that without letting go of the old, we can't make space for new opportunities.
Do you struggle with letting things go too? I used to think I would always manage everything on my own, but now I’m considering outsourcing some tasks. Although I don’t feel entirely ready, and my business is still in its (very) early stages, I think this step could free me up to focus more on the parts of the business I love, like painting and growing as an artist. What are some goals you hope to achieve by the end of 2024?
Are there things you're also learning to let go of? 🌼
